Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that the Bhu Bharathi Act is an Indiramma brand. He said that the government prepared Bhu Bharathi act with the aim of the welfare of farmers. He made it clear that the government will take stern action against the officials who commit mistakes in implementing the Act.
Addressing the Rythu awareness programme program which was held under the aegis of Thungathurthi MLA Mandula Samuel, on Bhu Bharathi in Nuthankal mandal headquarters on Wednesday, Ponguleti said that the former CM KCR removed VROs and VRAs for not listening to his word.
The minister made it clear that the government will take back the lands encroached and made pattas illegally.
Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the Bhu Bharathi Act is like a relative to the people. However, the opposition party BRS I’d criticising this good Act. He appealed to the people not to believe in the venomous campaign against the Bhu Bharathi Act.
