Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that the Revenue meetings will be held across the state from June 2, the state’s foundation day, as part of the Bhu Bharati Act.
The Minister said that with the hope of finding a permanent solution to the land problems that have accumulated in the state over the last 10 years, the Bhu Bharati Act was launched on the April 14th by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and from the 17th to the 30th of the same month, revenue meetings were held on an experimental basis in four mandals in four districts. He said that from the 5th to the 30th of this month, revenue meetings are being held in 28 mandals in 28 districts.
He said that some of the four pilot mandals have already been resolved, and that by the 30th of this month, about 60 percent of the land problems will be resolved. He said that all the problems that need to be resolved under the Bhu Bharati Act will be resolved, and the applicants will be informed in writing why they cannot be resolved. It is said that if there are problems that will never be resolved, if they are not really solvable and are illegal, they will not be resolved. The Bhu Bharati Act aims to provide a complete solution to land problems. He said that steps are being taken to ensure that the officials at the field level respond quickly.
The Minister said that in the revenue meetings being held in 28 mandals in the second phase, clear instructions have already been given to the collectors to resolve the issues as soon as possible by the end of this month.
He said that the issue related to Sada Bainamas is currently in the Court’s jurisdiction and that we will resolve this issue as soon as the stay in the Court is vacated, but only online applications will be considered.
He said that the reforms and decisions taken by the Revenue Department in the last one and a half years to provide better services to the people to resolve their problems are receiving an unexpected response from the people.
