Bike lifter arrested; 34 vehicles recovered

The police arrested a bike thief and recovered 34 stolen bikes worth Rs 24 lakh at Uppalapadu village.
Talking to the media, SP Ravishankar Reddy here on Friday said that the accused Yutham Veerabhadra Rao worked as a mason and was addicted to vices.
To earn money easily, he started stealing motorcycles. He was sent to jail in a bike-lifting case. After coming out of the prison, he started stealing motorcycles in Narasaraopet town and other areas.
He would steal the motorcycles parked at fields in rural areas and fairs. He committed motorcycle thefts in Pedakurapadu PS limits, Vinukonda, Inavolu, Paruchuri, Martur, Inkollu, Ponnur and Kakumani police station limits.
A police team arrested him at Uppalapadu village when he was on a stolen motorcycle and received 34 stolen bikes worth Rs 24 lakh.
