BJP activists celebrate Vishweshwar Reddy’s victory

Celebrations erupted in Chevella constituency after BJP candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy secured a decisive victory. He defeated his nearest rival Gaddam Ranjith Reddy of the Indian National Congress (INC), by a substantial margin of 1,65,461 votes. Dr. Ranjith Reddy garnered 6,02,696 votes, while Kasani Gnaneshwar Kasani of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) received 1,65,928 votes.
Chevella Lok Sabha constituency, one of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, is situated in the Rangareddy district, approximately 40 km from Hyderabad, the state capital.
Formed in 2008 following a reorganisation of Lok Sabha constituencies, Chevella comprises seven Assembly segments, such as Maheswaram, Rajendranagar, Serilingampally, Chevella, Parigi, Vikarabad, and Tandur. The area is renowned for its government institutions, numerous temples, and substantial carrot production
The BJP cadre and Vishweshwar Reddy’s followers celebrated the victory by distributing sweets.
