A Chalo Gajwel programme would be held under the aegis of the BJP on September 1. In all, 100 vehicles will set out for Gajwel from Frobel’s High School in the town on that day, according to BJP leader and former Zilla Parishad chairman Katipalli Venkata Ramana Reddy.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, he said that the Chief Minister’s home constituency, Gajwel, did not witness development as was projected. He said that he would prove that Gajwel constituency was not developed on the scale as was projected.

Taking objections to MLC Kavita describing Maharashtra MLA Sachin Kalyan Setty, who toured Kamareddy, as a political tourist, the former ZP chairman sought to know she would describe KCR visiting Maharashtra to seek people’s support to the BRS.

Referring to KCR’s remarks passed in Maharashtra on Godavari river water sharing, he accused KCR putting the interests of Telangana at stake.

Councillors M Srikant, P Praveen, A Narender, K Srinivas, A Bharat, BJP leaders and others were present at the press meeting.
