The Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana State unit decided to halt the agitation in view of rains. The party planning mahadharnas to protest against the Telangana government’s non-implementation of its promises to provide double bedroom houses to the people of Telangana on on Tuesday at Indira Park has been postponed. BJP State unit general secretary Dugyala Pradeep KumarKumar issued a statement saying that the Mahadharna has been postponed to ensure that inconvenience was not caused to people.
