BJP leaders exhort farmers to inflict crushing defeat on Cong

BJP leader P Muralidhar Rao on Friday exhorted the farmers to teach a fitting lesson to the anti-farmer Congress government.
Believing in the promises made by the Congress government ahead of the Assembly elections, the farmers voted for the Congress and defeated the BRS “autocratic” government. “It is unfortunate that the Congress party, which came to power, has completely failed to implement the promises made during the 100-day of Revanth Reddy’s rule.
Muralidhara Rao said that the Congress government failed to fulfil the promise of waiting the farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh at one go. So was the case with the promise to provide Rs 15,000 input subsidy under Rythu Bandhu scheme.
He said that farmers are suffering quality power supply deteriorated and motors were getting damaged. He said that the Congress government had failed to provide water to the farmers due to which the standing crop in thousands of acres had dried up.
BJP’s Nalgonda Lok Sabha candidate Sanampudi Saidireddy said that the Congress government which came to power with six guarantees and 60 lies has failed to implement the promises. They demanded Rs 25 lakh compensation per acre. He alleged BJP district president Nagam Varshith Reddy said that the party will continue to fight on behalf of the farmers. “The Congress party in the State is collecting commissions in the name of K-Tax, U-Tax, J-Tax and R-Tax. Young people and farmers are ready to end family rule in the district.
Dalit Morcha leaders Potepaka Sambaiah, district unit general secretary Potepaka Lingaswamy, treasurer Pakiru Mohan Reddy and others spoke.
