The BJP has decided to appoint in-charges in reserved Assembly constituencies to win these constituencies at any cost. The party has also decided to launch public movements after identifying the problems of all reserved constituencies. The BJP has decided to make its leaders tour SC and ST constituencies from August 20 to September 15.
Focussing on the reserved constituencies for SCs and STs (SC-19, ST-12) the party held a meeting of its leaders from the reserved constituencies at the BJP state office here on Friday.
State BJP in-charges Tarun Chugh, Sunil Bansal, Telangana BJP Election Management Committee Chairman Eatala Rajender, BJP Vice-President DK Aruna, former MPs, SC and ST constituencies’ convenors AP Jithender Reddy and Garikapati Mohan Rao and others attended the meeting. The meeting discussed strategies on how to win SC, ST constituencies and chalked out an action plan to be taken up immediately. The meeting also decided to immediately appoint in-charges in SC, ST constituencies and directed party leaders in those constituencies to go to the people and assure them that the party will stand by SCs and STs always.
