Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asserted that Andhra Pradesh does not require the rulers and instead elect the leaders who raise the voice and question in support of the rights of the people. The CM said that BJP means Babu, Jagan and Pawan and Modi is their leader in the state. The Chief minister warned people that if they vote for any of the three leaders, it means you support the BJP only.
“It’s unlikely they’ll muster the courage to oppose Modi for the rights of Andhra”, Revanth said.
The Chief Minister criticized that those two (Chandrababu Naidu and Jaganmohan Reddy) leaders want to rule the state but do not want to be the voices of the people. “Polavaram has not been completed even after ten years. The capital city is not yet finalized. The AP rulers mortgaged the AP’s self-respect in Delhi. Both (Jagan and Babu) want to be rulers, not a voices to question. AP doesn’t need spineless leadership, but those who can fight Centre”, he said

CM Revanth Reddy said that he will extend support to Sharmila and make her the Chief Minister and also stand up for Andhra Pradesh.

CM Revanth Reddy spoke at the Visakha Ukku (steel)-Andhra Hakku ( rights) meeting conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee in Visakhapatnam today . The Chief Minister said the two Telugu state people are still together even though separated geographically. There was a war between Kauravas and Pandavas in Kurukshetra, but if anyone came against them, the team of 105 united and fought for their rights.

The CM criticized the rulers for not questioning the privatization of the Vishakha steel plant by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and selling it to the Adani group. If we fight together, Delhi sultans, jagirdars and rulers will also have to surrender. In the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, noted leaders like Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, PV Narasimha Rao, NT Rama Rao, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Jaipal Reddy and Venkaiah Naidu fought for the state interests and influenced the national politics. Now, no leaders are questioning the centre to protect the state interests and instead bow down their heads before the centre.

“Some leaders suggested me not to attend the meeting in Andhra Pradesh since the Congress is not existing. I came to attend the meeting held by YS Sharmila expecting that YSR fans will come in a big number . The meeting was successful like in Hyderabad and I thank all YSR supporters and Congress workers for keeping their faith in us”, CM Revanth Reddy said .

The CM appealed to people to elect five MPs and 25 MLAs from the Congress and give Congress an opportunity to be represented in the Legislative Assembly. The Chief minister said that the Congress cadre should not be disappointed and fight the elections to win . “The Congress lost deposits in the bye elections in Telangana and have only five MLAs in the assembly . Congress won 65 MLAs and came to power by fighting against Modi and KD ( KCR) in the recently held Assembly elections . Andhra people are intelligent and conscious. People are leaders in many fields including software and pharma and take wise decisions in the elections and win to question”, he said.

The Chief minister said that the Congress secured only 26 seats in 1996 elections in the erstwhile united AP. The party high command has appointed YS Rajasekhar Reddy as the president of the PCC. The CM praised that the Congress got 91 MLAs in 1999 after Rajasekhar Reddy fought for the voice of questioning. The Congress came to power in 2004 under the leadership of YSR who conducted padayatra from Chevella to Ichchapuram. The Congress government was formed at the center with the support of 33 MP seats from AP.

CM Revanth Reddy said that Rajasekhar Reddy’s last wish is to make Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister. Sharmila is the true successor of YSR . After Rajasekhar Reddy became the Chief Minister, Polavaram and Handriniva were started in Andhra Pradesh as part of Jalayagnam. Hyderabad was developed with outer ring road and pharma industries. The CM praised YSR Reddy for announcing farmers loan waiver and free electricity schemes . The CM took a broadside at Chandrababu Naidu and Jaganmohan Reddy for destabilizing the state.

“YSR was also a true secularist and he condemned the Godhra riots. Why is the YSR Congress not questioning the centre against the ethnic violence unleashed in Manipur ? Rajasekhar Reddy never supported the fanatic groups. YSR carried the tricolor flag till his last breath and Sharmila is continuing his legacy”, he said.
