Is the BJP planning to field its Telangana bigwigs against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s family members? Sources said it seems to be true.
Already, Telangana BJP Election Management Committee Chairman Eatala Rajender has said that he will contest against KCR in Gajwel and said that he was confident that he will defeat KCR in Gajwel as the people of Gajwel were eager to defeat KCR.
Now the BJP is going to adopt this strategy against the entire KCR family. It is learnt that the Telangana BJP has decided to field Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind against KCR at Kamareddy, where KCR is contesting as his second constituency. KCR has already announced that he is contesting from Gajwel and Kamareddy.
In the same manner, the BJP is going to field BJP General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar against KCR’s son KT Rama Rao in Sircilla.The party may field former MP Dr Boora Narsaiah Goud against KCR’s nephew T. Harish Rao in Siddipet.
Besides KCR’s family, the BJP is also planning to field former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy against Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy in Maheshwaram. The party would field former MLA Gujjula Ramakrishna Reddy against Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalar in Karimnagar, former Minister DK Aruna against Excise Minister V. Srinivas Goud in Mahbubnagar, and former MLA A. Maheshwar Reddy against Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy in Nirmal.
This strategy will be implemented all over Telangana to show the BJP’s strength and confidence. BJP sources said the first list would be released with 15 candidates who are going to contest against BRS Ministers.
