Telangana BJP leaders will undertake bus trips as Assembly elections are fast approaching. BJP leaders are reportedly preparing for a state-wide bus trip soon.
The BJP’s TS leaders will go to the public reportedly as per the directions of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The BJP has finalised bus trips on three routes. Telangana BJP President Kishan Reddy, BJP General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar and MLA Eatala Rajender will undertake the bus trip.
BJP sources said that a 12-member monitoring committee has been set up for the bus yatra. Sources said that candidate selection and election strategies will be kept aside for a few days as they prepare to fight the KCR government.
Under the leadership of the BJP’s state leaders, everything is being prepared for the bus yatras. But all this is part of preparing the party ranks for elections, party sources say.
The state BJP leadership has already finalised three routes – namely the Kumaram Bheem route connecting Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak and Greater Hyderabad districts, the Krishna route connecting Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts and the Godavari route connecting Warangal, Karimnagar and Khammam districts.A 12-member state committee has also been formed to monitor the bus yatra. Special committees are reportedly being prepared in the respective districts to coordinate the yatra district-wise.
The BJP bus yatra, which will be held in the second week of September, will end on October 2. Steps are being taken to ensure that the BJP’s state and national leaders participate in the trip. The bus trip is expected to take about 17 days.
The BJP leaders will meet in a day or two to discuss steps to make the bus yatra a success. The BJP hopes to prepare the party’s ranks for the elections through the bus yatra.
