BJP MLA from Dubbaka M Raghunandan Rao on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao reveal the details of all the loans availed by the State government.
Addressing the media, along with the District unit of the BJP president Doodi Srikant Reddy here, he reiterated his demand that the quantum of the borrowings, mode of repayment and when it can be repaid.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister went on record stating that money borrowed for the Kaleshwaram project had been cleared.
Minister for Finance T Harish Rao put the total amount of loans borrowed for the Kaleshlwaram project at Rs 86 lakh crore. The BJP demanded that the Chief Minister reveal when the loans borrowed for the Kalesharam project were repaid.
He welcomed the High Court order disqualifying Kothagudem MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao. There is a similar case pending against a Cabinet Minister and also against an MLA of the undivided Karimnagar district. He demanded that KCR suspend the MLA from the party.
