The BJP has decided to fight the BRS government in three phases and has coined a new slogan ‘KCR Ko Hatao – Telangana Ko Bachao – BJP Ko Jeethavo.’

In the first phase, the party will launch ‘Palle Bata, Basti Bata’ on August 16. The party will lay siege to mandal and division offices along with victims and applicants.

The party will also organise rasta rokos, dharnas and lay sieges on offices at the Assembly constituencies headquarters on August 18.

In the second phase, the BJP will launch ‘MLAs gherao programme’ on August 23 and a ‘Ministers gherao programme’ on August 24. The party will lay siege to the offices of collectors and launch jail bharo programmes on August 27.

In the third phase, the party will organise a ‘Million March’ in the first week of September.

The BJP held a meeting on ‘BJP’s Movement Action Plan’ on Monday at the State BJP office supervised by Dr K. Laxman. NVSS Prabhakar, Thula Uma, S. Kumar and other BJP leaders attended the meeting.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dr Laxman called on people to join the BJP and participate in the Million March asking the BRS government to step down. He made it clear that the BJP will settle the matter with the BRS. KCR’s attitude is like a cat going on a pilgrimage after eating 1,000 rats, he said.

He said that all sections of people are facing a lot of problems due to the KCR family’s corruption and family rule. The people of Telangana have fallen into an oven from the frying pan after the formation of the Telangana state. KCR has opened liquor shops on every street but he failed to provide irrigation facilities and drinking water, he said.

Dr Laxman said that the trade in liquor and narcotic drugs spread across Telangana during KCR’s rule. KCR has been insulting Telangana activists by keeping Telangana betrayers by his side.

He said the BJP is getting ready to fight the KCR government and that this will be for the future of Telangana and not for votes and seats.

Dr Laxman said that there is a need to launch a movement bigger than the Telangana movement to end KCR’s misrule.
