Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy said that they are sending an invitation to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Governor, Dr Tamilisai Sounderarajan and BRS MLAs for the 25-day countdown programme being held at the Parade Grounds on May 27 in preparation for World Yoga Day celebrations (to be held on June 21).
He said he hopes that KCR would come to Parade Grounds voluntarily and practice Yoga and that Union Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal, Anurag Thakur, Bhupender Yadav and Mahendra Bhai would attend the programme. He said the programme will start at 5.30 am on May 27.
He said that they started a countdown 100 days before World Yoga Day being observed on June 21.
He said they started the 100-day countdown in New Delhi, a 75-day countdown in Assam and a 55-day countdown in Rajasthan and are going to start a 25-day countdown in Hyderabad on May 27.
