BJP will declare war against govt : Sanjay

Declaring that he was confident that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would jail former BRS Minister KT Rama Rao as everybody knows about his corrupt deals, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, said the BJP will declare war against the Congress government if the CM fails to jail KTR. Sanjay said the BJP’s offence will be such that even if the Congress and the BRS join hands they will not be able to resist it. During a chit-chat with journalists at the BJP state office here on Saturday, Sanjay said that no one would forget KTR’s attacks against BJP activists including him. Sanjay said that no one would forget the way KTR jailed him (Sanjay) and the way he hounded BJP activists. Sanjay described the BRS as an outdated party and asked whether there is any connection between BRS MLC Kavitha’s bail and the BJP. “Is there any connection between the BJP and Sisodia getting bail? It is not proper to link court issues with the BJP,” he said. Sanjay said the Congress government did not give key posts to sincere IAS officers. The Congress government is giving postings only to IAS officers who had supported the BRS admin, he added. There is no difference between the Congress and the BRS governments, he said and added that the Congress is the party that drew flak from the public shortly after assuming power. Sanjay said that local body elections would be a contest between the Congress and the BJP. “The government is not in a position to fund panchayats. Panchayats are running with Central funds. The BJP’s brand ambassadors are former Sarpanches, MPTCs and ZPTCs. The people should keep their hands on their hearts and think which party is likely to help panchayats. It is good that BRS MLA T. Harish Rao is saying at least now that the Centre is funding panchayats,” he said
