Block reservation for Muslims, support quota for BCs: Amit

The Telangana BJP leaders who recently registered victories in the MLC elections held in the state met BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
First, Telangana BJP leaders met Nadda for half an hour. He congratulated the leaders who achieved good results in Telangana. He said that if they work hard like this they can gain power in Telangana.
Later, the Telangana MPs and BJP leaders led by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy met Amit Shah at the Parliament building.
Amit Shah congratulated Malka Komuraiah and Anji Reddy, who won the Telangana MLC elections from the BJP. They discussed the strategies to be followed for victory in local body elections.
He also spoke about the caste survey, which has become a hot topic in the state at present and advised Telangana BJP leaders that they should not oppose reservation for BCs, but must prevent the granting of reservation to Muslims on that pretext.
