Board nod for new queue complex for Srisailam temple

The Srisailam Devasthanam Trust Board has approved the construction of a new queue complex at a cost of Rs 75 crore in the temple for the devotees.

The Srisailam temple trust board meeting was held in hill shrine on Saturday presided over by board chairman Reddyvari Chakrapani in which MLA Shilpa Chadrapani Reddy participated.

The board chairman, talking to the media, said that the 17th meeting of the board was held on Saturday. He said that 19 proposals were tabled in the meeting of which the board approved for 18 proposals.

Chakrapani Reddy said that the board had approved the construction of a new queue complex at a cost of Rs 75 crore. The tenders for the construction of a new queue complex would be invited soon, he stated.

The board also approved to resume the flooring works which were stopped at various places due to technical reasons. Rs 20 lakh works for electrification was also approved by the board.

The board chairman said that Rajya Sabha member Vemuri Prabhakar Reddy is donating Rs 40 lakh for making a golden chariot for the deities the proposal was approved. The board also approved for the construction of a new office building and for the construction of staff quarters at a cost of Rs 40 crore.
