The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education meeting cancelled for two years due to Covid has been conducted on Friday at the Intermediate Board office. More than 111 issues were discussed in the meeting starting from housekeeping to exam fee structure of the Intermediate students.

Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy has said some problems had come to her notice and from now the decisions must be taken up by the board members. She also instructed that textbooks must be printed and distributed as they were delayed earlier.

Other issues detailed were that of upgradation of syllabus for Intermediate. There will be changes for the upcoming first year batches of Intermediate. Intermediate exam papers will not be evaluated online and a committee will be formed for syllabus change.

Inter Board Secretary in-Charge Navin Mittal said, “Since I am on the board, I wanted this meeting to be held soon. It is all ratification issues. It is about upgradation of the syllabus and it will be for the upcoming Intermediate first year. Affiliation process of Intermediate private colleges will be done well in advance starting by November-end and finished before the Class X results are out so that students know which one is affiliated and which is not in the list.”
