In a gory incident, a three-year-old boy was crushed under the wheels of a school bus at Chinthalapally village under Bheemadevarapally mandal in Hanamkonda district on Tuesday morning. The boy’s mother fainted on seeing her son being crushed under the wheels of the bus.
The accident happened when the three-year-old boy accompanied her mother to escort her elder son to the school bus pick-up point. The three-year-old boy ran in front of the bus and was crushed under its wheels.
Mulkanoor sub-inspector N Sai Babu said that the incident happened at 9 am.
After the incident, school bus driver D Rajeshwar fled the scene. A case was registered and an investigation is on.
The bus belongs to Zilla Parishad primary and high school in Galtanarsingapur village. The Gundavarapu Satyavathi Srinivas Rao Memorial Trust donated buses to Zilla Parishad Primary and High Schools.
