‘Bring out the enormous energy latent among women’

Sri Saraswathi Peetham Sanghatan Secretary Patakamuri Srinivasa Rao has said that the objective of Balika Sakti Sangamam programme is to bring out the enormous energy that is latent among women. Sri Saraswathi Peetham, which runs over 400 schools in Telugu states, is celebrating golden jubilee in 2022.

In connection with the golden jubilee, it is conducting Balika Sakti Sangamam programme- bringing thousands of girl students of schools being run by the Peetham together at one place to train them in concentration, self-defence, confidence and awareness, essential qualities to sustain in the present day society.

South Central Kshetra president Dr Chamarti Umamaheswara Rao, a retired civil servant, Telangana region president and former OU vice-chancellor Prof Tirupati Rao, Bharateeyam organiser Satyavani inaugurated the Balika Sakti Sangamam Camp here on Sunday.

All-India Prachara Prabhari of Vidya Bharati Lingam Sudhakar Reddy delivered the key-note address and showed way forward to the students. To motivate the participants, discussions by women who have occupied dizzy heights in society have been arranged.

Samayam digital editor Amruta noted that several women inspite of their rural original have reached top positions in their career and quoted the example of President Draupadi Murmu in this regard.
