BRS alleges liquor scam by State govt in TelanganaDistilleries which killed people and have donated money toCongress got permissions

BRS leader Manne Krishank said that the Congress government is resorting to liquor scam in Telangana by giving approvals to fraudulent companies involved in killing various people through spurious liquor.
Krishank was addressing a press meet at Telangana Bhavan on Monday.
He said, “Today Liquor manufacturer Som Distilleries and Breweries Ltd on Monday, wrote to NSE that it has received approval from the Telangana government to sell its beer brands in the State. This company has links with Congress leaders, gave donation to the party and also killed people through illicit liquor. During KCR’s regime illegal spurious liquor was banned in Telangana. When the Congress came to power, they opened the door to illegal liquor”.
Krishank said that there was a case that Congress national leader Digvijay Singh was involved in bribery with Som Distillery. Furthermore, in 2019-2020, through Indus Ind bank, Rs 1.30crore was given to Congress party by Som Distilleries as donation, alleged Krishank quoting media reports.
He said that prior to that the distillery donated Rs 25 lakhs in 2013-14 and Three times they transferred Rs 25lakhs as donation to Congress party.  
Krishank said, “In 1999, then as CM Digvijay Singh hoped that Som Distilerries will earn well as all of them have vested interests in it. As many 24 people died after drinking spurious liquor, Som Distilleries has been seized by Madhya Pradesh government. Congress government just because they are getting donations and funding, in an illegal way are giving permission to the party”.
Reacting to Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that he will file a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore if proven that new brands were given approvals by government, Krishank said, “Minister Jupalli said that no new brands of liquor were given permissions in the State. it all turned out to be a lie. A new beer company is being brought to Telangana by Som Distilleries Company. Fact is Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao is blatantly lying. Does Jupally know that Son Distilleries Company is coming to Telangana? …Did CM Revanth Reddy deal and give permission to Som Distilleries Company to sell beers in Telangana? Has Jupally been ignored? Why is the government risking lives of people
