Seeks clarification on ‘BRS admin’s failure’ to fill 1.6 lakh posts
Former BRS MP B. Vinod Kumar issued a challenge to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka demanding that they clarify their stand on job recruitment in the state.
Addressing a press conference at the Telangana Bhavan, he questioned the claims made by Revanth Reddy and his ministers regarding the KCR admin’s failure to fill 1.6 lakh vacancies in TG government service and said that actually, this target was not only met but exceeded.
Vinod criticised Revanth for using teacher recruitment as a political tool and responded to the Chief Minister’s remarks, stating that many posts were filled by KCR’s administration.
“We provided a record number of jobs during KCR’s rule, but we didn’t blow the trumpet about it. Now, ministers like Bhatti and Ponnam are questioning the number of posts filled. If they don’t know, they are unfit to serve as ministers,” he remarked.
He also threw light on Revanth Reddy’s recent notification for 6,000 jobs, calling it an extension of the notification issued by the KCR government in September 2023.
