Health Minister Harish Rao conducted a special pooja at the Solapur Markandeya Ratha Yatra.
Speaking on the occasion the Minister conveyed Rakhi greetings wishes to “all the sisters of Solapur.”
In this ancient temple, which has a history of 100 years, it is customary to conduct Ratha Yatra on every Rakhi full moon. Harish said that it is a pleasure to participate in the Rath Yatra.
He said that the Chief Minister had announced a donation of Rs 1 crore on behalf of the BRS for the development of the Markandeya Temple.
Ministers Harish Rao, Mahmood Ali and Vinod Kumar inspected two venues to hold the BRS public meeting in Solapur, namely the Bal Koti grounds and the Eidgah grounds.
