BRS is finding ways to pacify unemployed youth who are angry with the government. However, the message is not convincing enough. This was witnessed in Parliamentary elections where youth made families vote for the opposition instead of BRS.
The youth are capable of convincing their families to vote for other parties. The party is assuring that examinations will be conducted soon and a job calendar will be given.
Sources in the party said, “This segment is clearly against us. But they also need to understand that there is only little we can do about it. As either there are court cases or opposition seeking postponement. In fact, we are the ones who exposed the paper leak case, not someone from the opposition”.
With Congress releasing the job calendar itself in the manifesto, now BRS is in a fix. BRS has neither given unemployment allowance nor announced anything in the manifesto for youth. Ignoring this segment may cause a major dent in the party.
Minister for Information Technology K T Rama Rao has been stepping in to say that they will announce the job calendar as soon as they are elected. He recently said, “Our top priority is to ensure all examinations which are postponed or cancelled are conducted at the earliest. Soon after, we will go ahead with a regular job calendar. It will be the way forward. And about trust, when our actions meet our words, you will automatically know that you did the right thing believing us”.
