Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government is nurturing corruption and that the KCR government is totally corrupt. The KCR government’s corruption has reached even New Delhi, Modi added.
What is the BRS government doing when the Centre is launching development projects, Modi asked. He said that the BJP-led Central Government has been providing houses, the Ayushman Bharat scheme, Nal Se Jal and toilets to the people of Telangana and so Telangana now wants ‘Ab Ki Baar BJP Sarkar in Telangana,’ he added.
Modi said that some states join hands for the sake of development, but it is unfortunate that two states are now working together for the first time for the sake of corruption. Will the youth of TS who sacrificed their lives for a separate state tolerate this? Modi asked.
He said that KCR is devising new strategies to divert the attention of the public and called upon people to be on guard about KCR’s strategies and ideas. Modi said that corruption is in the DNA of all family-based parties and that Central agencies are probing the KCR family’s corruption and that the truth will come out soon.
The PM said the BJP will wipe out the BRS and the Congress in the next Telangana Assembly elections. The BJP showed a trailer of the future in the 2021 Municipal elections and it will show the full movie in the next elections., he added.
He recalled that Hanamkonda was one of the two MP seats that the BJP had won earlier. He said that KCR knows only four things. They are abusing Modi from morning to evening every day, nurturing his family-based party, destroying Telangana’s economy and keeping Telangana stuck in corruption.
Addressing the Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha on Saturday at the Warangal Arts College Grounds after laying foundation stones for development projects virtually, Modi said the KCR government has made it a point to keep criticising the Centre.
He said that people never thought that Telangana would get stuck in the hands of a family. He said the entire nation saw the corrupt rule of the Congress and now is seeing the corrupt rule of KCR. Modi declared that the BJP would make the two family-based parties, the Congress and the BRS, addressless.
He said that the KCR government destroyed public confidence and deceived the youth. KCR deceived youth by assuring them that he will provide lakhs of jobs. The KCR government again duped youth through the TSPSC scam.
He said that there were 3,000 vacant posts in Telangana universities and thousands of teacher posts are vacant in Telangana schools. But the KCR government betrayed students by not filling up these posts, Modi pointed out.
He said that sarpanches are angry with the TS government. He said the Centre has been giving funds directly to panchayats and that it had given around Rs 1,000 billion to Telangana in the last nine years.
“We fulfilled the promise to provide support prices for food grains. We gave the Mega Textile Park. The KCR government deceived SCs, STs and the poor. The BRS government is not providing basic facilities in Adivasi villages, but the Centre is providing even six-lane roads in tribal areas. The State is doing nothing. Everything is being done by the Centre,” Modi said.
Starting his address in Telugu, Modi remembered Bhadrakali, Sammakka, Saralamma and Rudrama Devi. He said that he is happy to come to Warangal which witnessed the valour of Rani Rudrama.
Modi said that nine years have been completed after the formation of Telangana and it has an important part to play in the nation’s development.
“Today we are launching projects worth Rs 6,000 crore. We are fast completing projects to develop the country. We are building highways, expressways and industrial-economic corridors. The Centre is helping the Karimnagar granite industry. We are creating records in Railway products and is increasing the Railway network in Telangana,” Modi said.
Modi laid the foundation stone for the Rs 521 crore Railway Wagon unit, the Rs 2,147 crore Jagtial–Karimnagar–Warangal NH and the Rs 3,441 crore worth Mancherial–Warangal NH.
