BRS’ internal bickering now visible on walls

Must read

Until a month ago, a flexi war was going on between the BRS and the BJP but now it is BRS Vs BRS. The internal bickering among BRS leaders can now be seen on walls and flexis.

BRS leaders are vandalising the posters and hoardings of each other. Interestingly, nobody is blaming the opposition.

In the constituencies of Warangal, Nalgonda districts, Station Ghanpur and city constituencies like Patancheruvu, Kukatpally, Qutubullapur, Cantonment, Uppal and Jubilee
Hills, BRS leaders themselves are defacing the posters of their party leaders.

What’s worse is that the faces of BRS leaders are blackened while the remaining part of the poster is kept intact so that the faces of KCR and KTR are visible.

A BRS leader who is in the run for an MLA ticket said, “Even if it is a party poster, the local MLA is making GHMC officials or his followers remove it. Hoardings with my image will not survive even for a day. My pic is hurting them while they don’t realise that there are big images of KCR and KTR along with it.”

In the Quthbullapur constituency, the posters of Shambipur Raju were defaced and the wall stickers of KP Vivekanand and Raju were seen stuck on each other. In Patancheruvu, posters of Nilam Madhu Mudiraj were defaced while his camp pointed fingers at the local BRS MLA. In Warangal, MLA Narender’s flexis were torn. When MP Vaddiraju Ravinchandra’s flexis were being put up, some people opposed it and Deputy Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani’s
flexis were also removed.

The menace of writing slogans on walls has also crept into rural areas as well as cities.

In Nalgonda, Pilli Rama Raju Yadav, Chada Kishan Reddy and Kancharla Bhupal Reddy have started wall writing. There is hardly any wall here without something written.

In the Cantonment area, defacing has gone to the next level with Gajjala Nagesh, Lasya Nanditha and Krishank Manne competing against each other over wall writing. It looks like a competition is on to see who can deface walls faster.

A BRS leader said, “Everyone is allowed to compete, but defacing is something one shouldn’t do. There is money involved in putting up propaganda material. The good thing is that only the BRS is visible everywhere as the opposition is not even trying to compete with us.”
