The inauguration of the BRS office might have been grand but the absence of like-minded anti-BJP parties was evident.Former Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav attended the opening function of the BRS office. Leaders of farmers’ associations came along with them. None of the leaders of other parties came, especially Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee or MK Stalin.
The leaders of the JD, JDS and AIMIM met KCR over the past two days.On Thursday, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at the CM’s official residence in New Delhi and invited him to his daughter’s wedding.
BRS sources said that this is just the beginning and that everyone will come together. They said that the BRS will definitely work to unite the opposition.“The party is moving ahead with our ‘Ab ki bar Kisan Sarkar’ agenda. Farmers’ associations are meeting the Chief Minister. It is people who play the key role. The party has not clarified if invitations were sent.
Apart from farmers’ associations, the BRS supremo has been meeting Telangana leaders. After the BRS launch on the second day, wishes continued to pour in for the BRS President Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in New Delhi. KCR spent the whole day meeting visitors and public representatives.
Along with the thousands of party leaders and activists who came from Telangana for the opening of the BRS office, hundreds of leaders of farmers’ associations came from the north and the surrounding areas of KCR’s official residence on Tughlaq Road.
KCR greeted all supporters and workers who came to congratulate him and took photos with them. On this historical occasion when the TRS becomes BRS fans are seen taking photos with their favourite leader.”
