Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed 24 people to the new Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board.
Among them is P. Sarath Chandra Reddy, the former director and promoter of the Aurobindo Pharma Group.
He was arrested and named an accused in the Delhi liquor policy scam.
He was also identified as the key person in the ‘South Group.’
Sarath Chandra Reddy happens to be the brother of YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy’s son-in-law.From Telangana, Gaddam Seetha Reddy, the wife of BRS MP Ranjith Reddy, has also been appointed a member of the TTD Board. Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy had already taken charge as the TTD Chairman on August 10.
Other MLAs are Ponnada Venkata Satish Kumar, Udayabhanu Samineni and M. Tippe Swamy.
The other people appointed to the TTD Board are Siddavatam Yanadaiah, Chande Ashwartha Naik, Meka Seshubabu, R. Venkata Subba Reddy, Yellareddy Gari Sitarama Reddy, Gadiraju Venkata Subbaraju, Ram Reddy Samula, Bala Subramanian Palanisamy, SR Viswanath Reddy, Krishna Moorthy Vaithiyanathan, Sidda Veera Venkata Sudheer Kumar, Sudharshan Venu, Nerusu Naga Satyam, RV Deshpande, Amol Kale, Dr S. Shankar, Milind Keshav Narvekar, Dr Kethan Desai and Bora Saurabh.
