Declaring that the BRS is savouring the Congress victory in Karnataka like a devil, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the BRS and the Congress will join hands in Telangana.
He said that Aleti Maheshwar joined the BJP knowing fully well that the BRS and the Congress will join hands. Even senior Congress leaders like K. Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy have said that the BRS and the Congress will come together.
He said that a four-pillar game is going on in the Congress and that the BRS and the Congress are planning to share power after elections. But the BJP would come to power in Telangana, he said.
Sanjay said that KCR is running the Congress in Telangana. KCR has been providing funds for the Congress in TS. KCR has been encouraging the Congress wherever it is weak across the state. The CM gave Rs 1,000 crore to Congress leaders as pocket money, he said.
He said that KCR deceived JDS leader Kumaraswamy during the Karnataka elections. KCR used Kumaraswamy during the launch of his BRS. But now KCR is not even answering the phone calls of Kumaraswamy.
He said that the vote percentage of the BJP had not decreased in Karnataka. The BJP lost elections because the Congress, MIM and another party joined hands.
Speaking to the media at Adilabad on Sunday, Sanjay said that there was drama at a recent Cabinet meeting and KCR abolished GO No: 111 for the sake of money. Describing the withdrawal of GO No: 111 as a big scam, Sanjay said that areas that come under GO No: 111 are filled with farmhouses.
He said that BRS leaders have been grabbing lands worth billions in Kokapet and that the BRS has been grabbing lands in Kokapet just like the Congress. He made it clear that the BJP will not allow land grabbers and corrupt politicians to escape.
Sanjay said the BRS government gave 11 acres in Kokapet to a company and showed that the BRS paid Rs 40 crore for it. As per HMDA, the land should be sold for Rs 1.16 lakh per sq.yard in Kokapet, but the BRS took over the land for just Rs 7,000 per sq.yard. The BRS bought the land for Rs 40 crore, but its real price is Rs 550 crore, Sanjay said.
He said that the price of land in Kokapet is Rs 100 crore per acre in the open market and the value of the 11-acre plot should be Rs 1,100 crore.
He said that Congress grabbed lands earlier and now the BRS is doing it following the footsteps of the Congress.
Demanding that the state government should withdraw the GO issued regarding the 11-acre plot, Sanjay said that they will launch a movement for that. He said that Health Minister T. Harish Rao spoke lies after the Cabinet meeting.
He said that the BRS government has been grabbing the lands of the poor to build government offices and that the government took over lands in 33 districts on lease for Re 1.
