‘BRS to contest all seats in AP’

Andhra Pradesh BRS President Thota Chandrasekhar said that BRS will contest from 175 Assembly seats and 25 Parliament seats in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming elections.

He made key comments that even big leaders from various parties are interested to join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party. He said that many key leaders are in touch with him and there will be massive additions in the coming days. Chandrasekhar said that the BRS is clear about the capital of AP. Within three years of coming to power, the capital will be built and shown.

He visited Guntur for the first time on Wednesday after taking charge as the state president of BRS party. At Gannavaram airport, the party ranks gave him a grand welcome. Later, he spoke to the media at his home in Guntur. He said that the BRS will play a major role as a third political alternative to YCP and TDP in AP in the next elections. Chandrasekhar criticised the performance of the BJP and YCP governments in the state. He accused the BJP government of subduing the opposition parties who question Modi with the IT, ED and CBI.

He accused the Central government of failing to fulfill many promises like Visakha steel plant, railway zone and Polavaram in AP. He said that Centre meted out step-motherly treatement towards AP. He expressed concern that inflation will increase and the prices of essentials will go up, resulting in a situation where the common man cannot live.

He said that after the bifurcation of the state, in the last five years, Rs 3 lakh crore investments have been made in Telangana, but not a single new industry has come up in AP.

Later, Madiga Rights Dandora state president G Chittibabu, BJP SC Morcha city president Prakash, Visakha East Kapu leaders Srinivas, Mangalagiri constituency SC leaders N Srikanth, Deepa, Kanakavalli and others joined the BRS in the presence of Chandrasekhar.

Meanwhile, State Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashanth Reddy inspected the construction works of BRS party central office being constructed in Delhi on Wednesday on the orders of BRS leader and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The construction site was inspected and the works were supervised at the field level. A review was conducted with the architect and work agency on the progress of the works. The Minister directed the representatives of the construction company to complete the construction within the fixed deadline set by the leader KCR.

The Minister was accompanied by Urdu Academy Chairman Mujibuddin, Architect Oscar, representatives of the construction company and others.
