BRS to stand by HYDRAA victims

Must read

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao said that the BRS will chalk out an action plan to help HYDRAA victims. “We will hold a meeting with Hyderabad MLAs soon to help the poor. If we decide to support HYDRAA victims, we will launch programmes for that with KCR’s permission,” KTR said.
KTR was furious with Revanth for saying that he was destroying the nests of the poor in the name of HYDRAA and that the lives of the poor were being thrown on the road.
“Is there any special laws for Tirupati Reddy, the CM’s brother? If you have the guts, take action against those who gave permission. Isn’t it your Congress which permitted illegal buildings in Hyderabad? The BRS will not keep quiet if the houses of the poor are demolished. We will help them,” KTR said.
He said that the Serilingampally MLA himself said that the CM’s brother Tirupati Reddy has opened a commission business in Madhapur. A by-election is certain in Serilingampally and the BRS will win, he said. Speaking at a meeting of BRS workers of Serilingampally at the Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, KTR said the BRS made a clean sweep in Hyderabad with huge majorities.
“In Hyderabad, Congress leaders are angry that Hyderabad people did not vote for them. The CM holds a grudge against auto-rick drivers, slum dwellers and the poor. One justice for the CM’s kin and a different justice for the poor?” he said.
“If one wanted to touch Tirupati Reddy, he is provided with all security. HYDRAA made a drama of issuing a notice and got a stay. But poor people are not given time even if they have to save their books and household goods. Buildings will definitely be demolished.
They are throwing the poor on the road ruthlessly. We did construction. He is doing destruction. We built double-bedroom houses, flyovers and STPs. But this Chief Minister has been threatening, subverting and blackmailing,” KTR said.
He demanded that the CM should demolish the houses of Patnam Mahender Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and that of Congress MLAs and MPs if he is sincere.
KTR said that the Serilingampally MLA said that Tirupati Reddy is collecting a tax in Ayyappa society.
“Your MLA said that if you go to Tirupati Reddy’s office, you can see commissions and settlements being done. Chitti Naidu’s seven brothers shared the whole of Telangana. All those connected to Chitti Naidu are looting in Telangana. The real estate sector of Telangana is in shambles due to the Chief Minister’s relatives and the CM,” KTR said.
He said that Serilingampally activists need not worry. A By-election will be held in Serilingampally and a new MLA will come from BRS cadres. The development of Telangana is possible only through the BRS. It is not possible through Chitti Naidu, KTR said.
