Stating that he is happy that suspended BRS leaders Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao have decided to join the Congress, Bhongir Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the BRS will not win this time even if KCR distributes a kg of gold to each voter.
After the formation of Telangana only KCR’s family became golden, he said.
“It is painful to realise KCR looted Telangana in such a manner that he offered to fund the entire opposition in the next LS polls,” Venkat saying that KCR became super rich in the last nine years.
Speaking to the media after meeting Ponguleti and Jupally along with party leaders in Ponguleti’s residence, Venkat said that leaders joining the Congress will get priority. He appealed to all political leaders to join the Congress as it is the party that gave Telangana.
He said the Congress will face KCR in the next elections with a mix of old and new leaders that farmers and the people were facing trouble due to the Dharani Portal.
He said that Telangana is now under a dictatorship and that the Khammam meeting will will pave the way for defeating KCR. He appealed to the people to attend the Khammam meeting on their own as they are not in a position to offer money.
