Stating that the budget for BCs would be allotted based on their population, the BJP revealed a BC Declaration on Thursday for the BCs of Telangana.
The Declaration said that it will give Constitutional Status to the State BC Commission. The Declaration also said that the party will give priority to BCs in all nominated posts. Adequate assistance will be given to BC students for studying abroad, the BJP said in its Declaration. The BJP would also give priority in posts for minor caste groups who are not in a position to win elections.
Releasing the BC Declaration on Thursday at the Shubham Convention in Nagole organised by the State OBC Morcha, BJP State Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the BC Garjana Sabha will be held in Hyderabad with one lakh people next month.
Dr K. Laxman, the President of the BJP’s OBC Unit and a Member of the Rajya Sabha, said that justice will be done to BCs only by the BJP government under the leadership of Modi. He said that NTR is a great man who gave a big boost to BCs and is credited with giving 33 per cent reservations in local body elections.
He said that KCR has a history of reducing reservations for BCs and that he is a traitor to BCs. He said that KCR gave BC seats to Muslims during GHMC elections.
Laxman asked why the BC census was not conducted when the Congress was in power in Karnataka.
