Buggana incurs wrath of women

Finance Minister Buggana Rejendranath Reddy incurred women’s anger at Sundar Nagar colony in Dhone town on Tuesday when he went there for an election campaign on drinking water scarcity.
A group of women complained to him that the drinking water being supplied by the municipality was stinking. The women told him that acute drinking water scarcity prevailed in the locality but the municipal officials did not take steps to mitigate the drinking water crisis.
The women questioned the Finance Minister about how they could consume the drink which was contaminated and stinking. Moreover, drinking water is supplied once in three days, the women brought to his notice.
The women told the Minister that the authorities concerned did not take steps to provide drinking water to the colonies through water tankers and questioned him about where they could fetch drinking water. The women had also taken to the notice of the Finance Minister about the damaged roads and told him that the local municipal councillors were not regarding their problems.
Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy conducted election campaigns at Mallepally village Lakshmipalle and other villages. Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister asked people not to trust the ‘Super Six’ welfare schemes, announced by Chandrababu Naidu as he can not implement them.
Buggana demanded that Naidu tell people how he could implement the free bus travel scheme for women if voted to power. “Their manifesto did not have the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and AP BJP election in-charge Siddharthanath Singh did not even touch the manifesto documents,” Buggana pointed out.
Buggana wooed voters to elect him to the Assembly from Dhone Assembly constituency and Pocha Brahma Reddy to Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, as many as 65 families quit the TDP and joined the YSRCP in the presence of Buggana Rajendranath Reddy.
