Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of a bridge across the Isukavagu stream at Parumanchala village on Tuesday. The bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore. The bridge will resolve the problems of 10 villages.
TTD Executive Officer Dharma Reddy brought to the notice of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Finance Minister Rajendranath Reddy the problems of 10 villages during the floods.
Responding to his appeal, the government sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the construction of a bridge across the Isukavagu stream. Nandikotkur MLA Toguru Arthar, TTD EO Dharma Reddy, MP Pocha Brahamanand Reddy, ZP chairman Yarrabotula Papireddy, AP Sports Authority chairman Baireddy Siddartha Reddy and Nandyal Collector Manajir Jilani Samoon were among those who were present.
