Buggana lays stone for Siva temple facelift

Minister for Finance Buggana Rajendranath Reddy performed bhoomi pooja for the reconstruction works of the Siva temple at Venkatapuram on Saturday. The reconstruction works of the temple will be carried out at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister said that the old Shiva temple would be completely renovated at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore bringing the past glory to the ancient temple. He participated in the Bhoomi pooja for the works at the temple. He directed the officials concerned to complete the reconstruction works of Shiva at the earliest.
The Finance Minister said that the Abbireddypalli-Venkatapuram irrigation tank area was being developed as a tourist place at a cost of Rs 3 crore.
He said that a boating facility is also being set up at the tank to attract tourists.  A restaurant would also be set up at the tank, he added.  He unveiled a plaque at the tank on the occasion.
The Finance Minister dedicated to the people the newly constructed road at Avuladoddi village in Dhone mandal. The 11 km long road was constructed at a cost of Rs 8 crore from Venkat Nayunipalli to Avuladoddi.  Mean corporation chairman Sriramulu, ZP chairman Yerrabotula Papireddy and MPP R Rajasekhar Reddy were among those who were present.
