The Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, and the Telugu Film Producers Council are incensed at a segment of the Tollywood media that claims that the distribution of theaters to various Sankranthi films has been rife with monopolistic and arm-twisting tactics. They conveyed apprehension on the dissemination of articles concerning specific films. According to the bodies, bad news coverage will contribute to a bad environment in the sector. There have been claims that “Guntur Kaaram,” starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram, is unfairly benefiting from an unfair advantage in some markets at the expense of other films.
There is no arm-twisting involved, according to the three industry associations, and thorough discussions are the fundamental cause of what has occurred this season. According to the bodies, each film has received equal treatment.
As a result of internal producer negotiations, the action film “Eagle” starring Ravi Teja has been rescheduled, and “Ayalaan” and Dhanush’s “Captain Miller” have been postponed.
The organizations stress that some websites and social media accounts have published incomplete reporting because they do not fully comprehend the situation or the backroom deals. Action has been threatened against these websites in the event that they publish more purported lies.
The producer of ‘Ayalaan’ stated in a different statement that the postponement of his Telugu film was not a contentious decision.
