Assuring that Telangana will be developed as a tourist and investment destination, and calling it the best State in India for investors, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao addressed the Telangana Tourism Road Show at DoubleTree Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday, as part of his visit to the United States.
The event saw participation from NRIs, foreign delegates, tourists and local officials.
On this occasion, Jupally said that under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s plans, Telangana, a centre of rich history, culture and heritage, is moving ahead with world-class infrastructure to boost tourism. He also announced a new tourism policy focused on promoting tourism and preserving heritage.
The Minister aimed to attract tourists and global investors, highlighting Telangana’s blend of tradition and modernity, its natural beauty, folk arts, eco-tourism, medical tourism and investment opportunities. He invited international tourists to explore Telangana’s culture, festivals and lifestyle. He also mentioned Hyderabad’s emergence as a hub for IT, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Introducing the Future City project, Jupally said it would attract excellent investments in IT, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, making Telangana an attractive destination for global investors.
Managing Director of Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation NT Prakash Reddy, Consul General of San Francisco and California Chittireddy, Sripal Reddy and others were also present in the event .
