Telangana State BC Commission Chairman Dr Vakulabharanam Krishnamohan Rao said that he has prayed to Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy that the “Caste Survey” (Kulaganana), to be undertaken soon by the Telangana State government, will continue without any hindrances.
Mainly, the BCs in the State have been demanding for a long time to take out their population statistics and accordingly to provide equal benefits in all sectors. Dr Vakulabharanam explained that the Backward Classes would be greatly benefited if the government finalises the modalities at the earliest and completes the caste survey.
Dr Vakulabharanam spoke to reporters outside the temple for a while. He said that in the past he had come to Tirumala and begged Swami on the issue of caste Survey and now he has come back to see the Swami with happiness that his government is taking steps in that direction.
