The caste survey was held transparently in Telangana, TPCC chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said.
Countering the criticism of BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, he said that KTR has been stating that the caste census was not held properly without any evidence. He said the government held the caste census scientifically by using lakhs of government employees.
KTR is criticising the government as it is getting a good name for conducting caste census, he said.
Declaring that the Congress government conducted the caste census as per the directions of Rahul Gandhi, he warned KTR that BCs will not forgive KTR’s comments on caste census. He said the caste census was held after 1931 and it will help BCs greatly.
Mahesh said the Congress government completed the caste census perfectly for the first time in the country. KTR cannot stomach the fact that BCs are going to get justice after the caste census, he added.
“It is surprising that KTR did not participate in the caste census. However, he and his family are speaking about re-survey. It is ridiculous on the part of KTR to speak about weaker sections. The BCs were subjected to injustice during the BRS rule. The BRS and the BJP have compromised in MLC elections. The BRS have no candidates to field in MLC elections. So the BRS is giving indirect support to the BJP as it happened during the 2024 LS elections,” he said.
