CBI first calls as witness and then starts real game

Kavitha’s case similar to Kanimozhi’s

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kavitha’s case is similar to that of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi.The CBI’s investigation style is different from that of other agencies. In the 2G spectrum scam during the UPA government, Kanimozhi was arrested by the CBI. Before arresting Kanimozhi she was questioned four times by the CBI.

In almost every case the CBI tests suspected individuals by calling them first as witnesses. In the 2G spectrum case also Kanimozhi was questioned as a witness first. After serving notices the CBI will start its real game.

When the CBI questions any person in any scam no one suspects that the person will be arrested. In Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s case also the CBI asked him to appear before them for questioning and later he was arrested.

In the Delhi liquor scam also it appears that the CBI is following the same procedure. In the Delhi liquor scam Kavitha was issued a second notice. One can observe the difference between the two notices served by the CBI.It seems that Kavitha is also aware of likely future developments in the Delhi liquor case. When the CBI served its first notice Kavitha said that she is ready to go to jail.

The CBI will take all precautions so that suspects do not get an inkling of their moves during the investigation. The CBI will question a person three to four times and one fine morning the CBI will arrest the person whom it had questioned earlier.

Kavitha also is preparing the ground to fight the BJP which is in power at the Centre. After a long time, Kavitha has become very active in Jagruti. If anything happens through Jagruti Kavitha may launch a movement against the BJP-led Central Government.

Kavitha wants to contest from the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency in the next LS general elections. There is around one and a half years for that.Meanwhile, many political developments can take place.The BRS is going to face TS Assembly elections before the next general elections.

Even though the BRS is confident of retaining power it is a fact that the BRS will face a tough fight in the next Assembly elections, unlike previous ones. The result of the Assembly elections also may have an impact on Kavitha’s political future.
