The Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has appointed A Chandrasekhara Reddy as senior advisor for Business Development and Government Affairs. He served in the Andhra Pradesh power sector for three decades including nine years in the Chief Minister’s Office.
Chandrasekhara Reddy was instrumental in creating the ‘Andhra model’ of sorts in driving the Centre’s ambitious agenda in conserving energy thereby providing economic benefits and also mitigating climate change effect. Chandrasekhara Reddy thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Energy Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy and officials and other key departments like Panchayat Raj, Municipal Administration etc., for their unstinted support during his tenure in the AP power sector.
After putting in more than three decades of yeomen services to the State and society at large, Chandrasekhar Reddy superannuated on May 31, 2023, as APSECM CEO.
