MVV Satyanarayana, YSRCP MP from Visakhapatnam, has said that it is very unfortunate that the kidnap of his wife and son was given political colour. Speaking to the media persons on Wednesday, he said that his wife and son were kidnapped by rowdy sheeter Hemanth in a planned way. He further said that he did not have any kind of relationship with the kidnapper. “Anyone can check my phone call history for the past five years. If there is a call from him, then the department can call for an investigation,” he stated.
He said, “On June 13, the accused rowdy sheeter Hemanth, along with some others, barged into the house, attacked my son and took the valuables from him. Later on the same day, they made my son call my wife, she went the next day.” The gang sent the driver who made Sharat do the phone call. The accused made Sharat call the Bheemli Circle Inspector and tell that Hemanth would be with him for two days.
The MP alleged that a few people were trying to spill mud in the name of business and it was very unfortunate that things like this happened in the port city.
He came down heavily on MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju for stooping down to such a level and said he did not know what he spoke. He said that when the whole family was upset about the kidnap, he was speaking, which was really atrocious.
MP Satyanarayana said that the comments made by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu were objectionable. Many such things have happened during the TDP rule, alleged the MP.
