Chevella MLA pelted with eggs, tomatoes

Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah faced an unexpected backlash on Wednesday during his visit to Shabad under the Chevella constituency. A large number of Congress activists, while raising slogans against the MLA, pelted his car with eggs and tomatoes.
The protest, according the Congress workers, was driven by growing frustration among longtime party workers, that their efforts over the past decade went unrecognized by the party leadership. The protestors expressed their anger over the inclusion of individuals from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) into the Congress fold, while sidelining loyal party.
Amid the chaos, the crowd chanted slogans such as “Go back MLA” and “Down Down MLA,” vowing to continue their protest until their demands for justice are met.
