A 19-month-old male child was electrocuted at Anantapalle village under Bhiknoor mandal in Kamareddy district on Tuesday.
A woman, named Ramya, has been staying with her parents for the last one year due to a conflict with her husband. She was hanging clothes on the clothesline, and while holding the child, came in contact with a live wire. A neighbour seeing that the mother and child got the electric shock pulled the live wire away with the help of a stick. Ramya fell and survived. But the child died.
