Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has suggested that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) summer coaching camps should be taken advantage of by children aged between 6 and 16 years. He inaugurated the GHMC summer coaching camp at Maredpally playground, Secunderabad.
On this occasion, the minister said that since the GHMC conducts summer coaching camps every year during the summer season, children should take advantage of it. In Secunderabad zone, 57 games are being played in five circles in 120 centres under the supervision of a coach.
Sports and games participants have to register by paying a minimum fee of Rs 50 for shuttle badminton, cricket, tennis, roller skating and Rs 10 for other games. Along with these, sports quiz and inter tournaments will be organised.
Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilata Shobhan Reddy said that summer coaching camp is being conducted from April 25 to May 31. Students were asked to improve their talent under expert supervision. She said that students get physical exercise, health and relief from mental stress through games.
