After almost 10 years, a sequel is being made to the political drama Prathinidhi. Starring Nara Rohith as the male lead in Prathinidhi 2, the film is being directed by popular journalist Murthy Devagupthapu, who is making his directorial debut. As the film is getting ready for a grand release, the makers of the film released its teaser on Friday.
Interestingly, ahead of elections, Megastar Chiranjeevi has come in support of the film by launching the teaser himself.
The protagonist is an honest news reporter working with a TV channel. In his interview with a top politician, he inquires about the debts of the state, to which the latter replies, 5 lakh crores. The politician suggests the debts will be cleared if development is done in the state. Then, the protagonist quizzes whether there are really developments happening in the state. The last episode shows the protagonist cautioning people to cast their votes or else leave the country. The teaser also introduced other prominent characters, such as Sachin Khedekar, Raghu Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Udaya Bhanu, Ajay Gosh, Shree, etc.
