Chiru donates Rs 5 crore to Jana Sena

Popular Telugu film hero and megastar K Chiranjeevi has donated Rs 5 Crore to the Jana Sena party.
Chiranjeevi was in the Telugu film ‘Viswambhar’ shooting at Muchchintal on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan, accompanied by general secretary K Nagababubu, went to the place.
Chiranjeevi handed over a Rs 5 crore cheque to Pawan Kalyan in the presence of Nagababu. Pawan Kalyan acknowledged by touching the feet of Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi wished Pawan Kalyan, and Nagababu all the best in the elections.
Interestingly, the handing over of the cheque took place in front of a Hanuman idol at the film shooting area. Sources said that this is the first time Chiranjeevi has extended his open support to Pawan Kalyan and his Jana Sena party. Pawan Kalyan felt emotional and hugged his brother.
Sources said that Chiranjeevi saw Pawan Kalyan addressing an election meeting in Anakapalli on Sunday and decided to extend financial support to the Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena party. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan has also decided to extend financial support to the Jana Sena party, sources added.
JSP General Secretaries T Shiva Shankar, Treasurer AV Ratnam and Pawan Kalyan’s secretary P Hari Prasad were among those who were present.
