An extensive search was led by CID Additional SP Hussain Peera at SPY Agro Industries in Nandyal. Over 30 CID officials participated in the inspection, scrutinising production records and verifying compliance with regulatory norms in response to allegations of malpractice.
In Kadapa, CID officials from Tirupati raided Eagle Distillery, focusing on alcohol production records from the past year. Meanwhile, a similar operation is underway at a distillery in Kuppam, located in Chittoor district.
These inspections aim to uncover any potential violations in alcohol production and distribution regulations, as the CID intensifies its efforts to ensure compliance across the state. The outcome of these raids is expected to be disclosed once the investigations are concluded.
