Meet Machavaram Ravi Sankar, an Intelligence Officer from the Special Intelligence Branch of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Vijayawada. He’s on his way to join the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) as part of the Indian Police Officers’ team.
Ravi Sankar, a native of Nellore, is among 68 officers from various State and Central Police Organisations in India selected for this important peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
Starting his journey as a Sub-inspector and rising to the rank of Inspector, Ravi Sankar has served in different roles across the South Central Railway (SCR). Now, he’s set to make his mark on the international stage, representing India in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in South Sudan for a one-year term.
